Post Office Field Trip! 💌
It was a perfect day to visit the post office and mail a letter! Our tour took us behind the scenes of a busy post office. The kids even got to scan packages and sort them by zip code. It was such a great field trip!

Busy, Busy, Busy!!! 🐝
It's safe to say we are on our final stretch of kindergarten! It is ALWAYS so bittersweet for me as I think about the amount progress this class has achieved both socially and academically. This is a tight group of kids that supports and looks out for each other. It is such a bonus when a class has a wonderful dynamic such as ours. We continue to forge ahead in our day to day work. We are up to 43 word wall words. That is A LOT of words to be responsible for reading and yet these kids are making me so proud with their consistency and effort in learning these words. This week in math I am introducing 3D shapes and their attributes. In writing, we are wrapping up our nonfiction unit and will begin our opinion writing. I always love teaching opinion writing as it's fun to encourage them to try to persuade me to be on their "side!" We are ending the year by studying plants and seeds.
